Christmas is love with al the trimmings!l

Morning all.

I just love that sentiment! So today I have a card to show you that I made with it!

and of course the inside with a simple sentiment...

Whilst I had my stash out I made another almost identical card, just changing the sentiment and backgound stamp. Et Voila...

I also got out my new die and made a tag to co-ordinate with the card...

SU Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Very Vanilla

Papers: SU Real Reds Patterns DSP

Stamps: SU Pennant Parade, Petite Pairs, Contempo Christmas, Confetti and Welcome Christmas

Tools: Top Note and Two tags Bigz Dies, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Petite Pennants builder punches, Cherry Cobbler, Choc Chip, Old Olive, Crumb Cake ink pads

Misc: Sponge daubers, Stampin Markers, Adhesive Gemstones and Pearls, Victoria Crochet Trim, Die cut tree given to me by a friend

Well, after 8 days off I am back at work today so a short and sweet post I'm afraid. I hope you are all on the way to being ready for christmas. Having this week off of work has definately helped me prepare. I've done all my present shopping, just need to wrap it all now!

Thanks for stopping by!

LIM Let it snow.

Hi all!

It's been a while again.... what can I say, It's a busy time of year and I'm trying to fit everything into the few hours in the day I seem to have!

I have managed to steal a little time to take part in this weeks challenge over at LIM though, where this weeks theme is 'Let it Snow' using a one layer card. I needed some quick cards so this challenge was perfect.

CS: Textured white (Non SU)

Stamps: SU Serene snowflakes, Contempo christmas

Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Night of Navy and Baja Breeze ink pads

Misc: Sponge daubers, Adhesive Gemstones

I just love this Serene snowflakes set, so elegant and easy to make stunning cards with. These cards are 10cm x 10cm and I whipped up 10 of these in less than 30mins. Perfect for this time of year when every minute is precious. I made these for the girls who go to the tuesday night card class that I go to, I hope they like them!

Sorry, no decorated inside for you today. Because of the size of the card I wanted them to be CAS and have the inside focus on the personal message.

Well tonight is our fortnightly tuesday night card class and as it is our last meet up before christmas we are having a little fuddle. We are all taking in some nibbles and Julie will have some christmas tunes playing to get us all in the festive spirit.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm of to see what all the other Limettes have been up to this week.

Holidays are coming!!!

Good morning all!!

I'm so sorry it's been so long since I last posted, life just seems to have got in the way of blogging! It's that time of year when there is just so much to do and just not enough hours in the day! I've still managed to get a bit of crafting done though. I have a christmas class next week so have been busy preparing for that!

Well, today I thought I would share with you another of my quick and simple christmas cards I have made for my general pile. I still need to get a wriggle on with my special cards though!!

Simply decorated inside...

CS: SU Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla

Stamps: SU Delightful Decorations, Something for christmas and Petite Pairs

Tools: Top Note Bigz Die, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Lace ribbon Border punch, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake ink pads

Misc: Sponge daubers, Adhesive Gemstones

Love the simplicity of this card and the fact that it only took 15 minutes to make! This a la carte 'something for christmas' stamp is fab too! My must have stamp this year for my christmas cards!

Well I must dash, I'm working this weekend! I hope to be back again soon though with more christmas cards to show you!
