Stars and stripes for my brother's birthday!

Evening all!

Sorry I've been AWOL for a while. Life just seems to have got in the way of crafting since before christmas really. I've done a few bits and pieces though and so tonight I thought I would show you the birthday card I made for my brother. Last week 7 of us went to New York for 5 nights to celebrate my sister in Laws 30th birthday. We had the most amazing time, 5 nights was definately not long enough! The day after we got back it was my brothers birthday, so I though I would make him a USA inspired birthday card to remind him of our trip and this was the result.

the inside...

and a co-ordinating gift tag for his present...

Materials

CS: SU Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White

Papers: SU Retired DSP

Stamps: SU Solid Stripes, Happiest Birthday Wishes (Hostess set), For my Family, retired Sale-a-bration set (star stamp)

I was pretty pleased with my efforts and I'm happy to say my brother loved it too!
Whilst I haven't been updating my blog much, I have still been stopping by your blogs and looking at all the wonderful things you've been up to. Please bear with me and I hope to be back in the swing of things pretty soon with some more regular posts

Bye for now my friends and thanks for stopping by !

Sale-a-bration 2012 is here!!

Hello all!

Although I'm sure a lot of you are aware by now, yesterday was the launch of Stampin Up's 2012 Sale-a-bration event! It's that time of year again when Stampin Up give you the chance to earn free products, and who doesn't like freebies right?

So what do you have to do to earn some free and exclusive products I hear you ask?? For every £45 (before p&p) you spend in the Stampin up 2011-2012 catalogue or the Spring Mini you get to choose a product from the sale-a-bration brochure (Click on the picture on my right sidebar to see the products available).

Now usually the free products on offer are all stamp sets, but this year we have some amazing papers to choose. These are definately my favourite product in the sale-a-bration brochure this year and here is a little sneak peak off them...

The Everyday Enchantment papers.... aren't they just fabulous!!

So if you would like to get your hands on some of these fab freeebies just get in touch and I would be happy to place an order for you and get these lovley goodies winging their way to you!
