Pink Petticoat...

This is the first card I have made with a pink petticoat image, I enjoyed making it and am pleased with the end result! I am really into the black, pink and white colour theme at the minute! They just seem to go so well together!

Been busy this morning out and about tying up some loose ends for a new house that we are buying and due to move into at the beginning of september. Its all soooo exciting, and the best bit is it has 4 bedrooms and there is only me and my o/h so I get my very own dedicated craft room!!

Rugby is on at the minute so am hoping to go and have a little me time and see what creations I can come up with!

Ismaki Challenge Card!

This is my attempt for this weeks Ismaki challenge. It's the first time I have used my sugar nellie rugby hamish stamp, and I love him! I have done this card for my FIL for fathers day. The image has been coloured in using whispers in our rugby league team's colours, the Leed's Rhino's. We are all big fan's!

I have also entered this card into the dies to die for competition. Take a look, there is a great prize on offer!

My First Challenge Card!

Here is my first challenge card. I was starting to feel stuck in a rut with my designs so gave Loretta's challenge over on the do-crafts website a whirl! This is quite an unusual style of card for me and was inspired by the wooden effect tags/tiles. I got them from Wickes DIY store. They are samples of kitchen worktop surfaces (on the side not shown), but the back of them have a wonderful wooden effect. I just added eyelets with my cropodile! Quite effective I thought. I'm always on the look out for how I can use household items for my cards, not only to save money but to help in recycyling, and it's always a bit of a challenge!

Early post today as I'm going out with the girls tonight to go and see the new Sex and The City movie. Im soooo looking forward to it, love the SATC girls!

So pleased with myself!

Well I have managed to figure out how to post on my blog, add pictures and create links to other blog's today. So overall I would say I am pretty darn pleased with myself!

I am sure there are still things that I will discover along the way, and I am in no doubt that I will become as addicted to blogging as I am to card making, but it's exciting.

My First Post!

Well Ive finally gone ahead and created my own blog! After many months of deliberating and looking at all your blogs for inspiration (some addresses can be seen in my favourite blogs) I have taken the plunge!

Please bear with me whilst my blog gets up and running as I am new to all this and it's giving my brain a good old work out!
